These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and 22F LLC ("we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of the website at quietproof.app ("the site") and the Quiet Proof app ("the app"), together "the Service." By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
Quiet Proof is a personal app for noting what you finish and keeping the proof. The Quiet Proof app runs on your device; your entries are stored locally on your device and are not synced to us. This website provides information about Quiet Proof and links to the App Store and optional TestFlight testing.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
App Store and TestFlight
The public app is distributed through Apple's App Store. TestFlight access is optional, requires a compatible Apple device, and may be affected by Apple's service availability or tester limits. TestFlight builds and features may differ from the public App Store version.
App Store purchases and earlier founding access
Quiet Proof is free to download and may offer optional paid Plus features in the app. The current offer and price are shown before purchase. Prices, taxes, billing, and App Store refunds are handled by Apple under its terms and policies, and may vary by storefront.
Public founding-access sales through this website have ended. If you previously bought founding access through Stripe, your promised permanent Plus access remains valid. Stripe processed that earlier payment under its own terms. Email biubiubiustudio@gmail.com if you need access instructions or help with that purchase.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, scraping or harvesting data from it in an automated way, or using it to harm others.
Intellectual property
The Service, including the Quiet Proof name, design, text, and other content (other than what you create in the app), is owned by 22F LLC and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own personal use. Anything you write in the app belongs to you.
The app and the App Store
If you download the Quiet Proof app, your use is also subject to the terms of the platform you download it from (such as the Apple App Store), in addition to these Terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data stored on your device will be preserved. Because your app entries live only on your device, keeping your own backups is your responsibility.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 22F LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; when we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
