This Privacy Policy explains how 22F LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), the maker of Quiet Proof ("the app"), handles information in connection with the app and the website at quietproof.app ("the site"). We built Quiet Proof to be private by design, and we keep the amount of data involved as small as possible.
The Quiet Proof app
Everything you enter in the Quiet Proof app, your wins, notes, and milestones, stays on your device. The app does not require an account, does not sync your entries to the cloud, and does not transmit your entries to us or to any third party. Because your entries never leave your device, we cannot read them, access them, or recover them for you.
The website (quietproof.app)
When you use this website, the following information may be collected:
- Your email address, if you previously submitted it through the launch-list form. We use it to send the public App Store link and related Quiet Proof updates. The form was handled by Formspree, which processed and stored the submission on our behalf.
- Basic source information submitted with the form, such as the marketing source, campaign, referring page, and landing path (for example, which link brought you here). We use this to understand which channels our early users come from.
- Usage analytics collected by Microsoft Clarity, which helps us understand how visitors use the site (for example, which sections are read and where people scroll). Clarity may use cookies and may record anonymized session information. It is a service provided by Microsoft.
- Advertising measurement data collected by the Reddit Pixel when you visit the site after seeing or clicking a Quiet Proof ad on Reddit. This may include page visits, purchase events, campaign parameters, browser and device information, and cookie or click identifiers used to attribute results to our ads. Reddit's automatic email and phone matching is disabled on this site.
- Payment and transaction information if you previously bought founding access through this site or use a private founding-access link. Checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects the payment details needed to complete the transaction and sends us transaction information such as payment status, amount, and contact details. We do not receive your full card number or card security code.
- Server and hosting logs. The site is hosted on Netlify, which may automatically log technical information such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.
How we use information
We use the information above to: send the App Store link and updates previously requested; support earlier founding-access purchases; understand how the site is found and used so we can improve it; and keep the site secure and working. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of third parties who process data in connection with the site: Formspree (form submissions), Microsoft Clarity (website analytics), Reddit (advertising measurement), Netlify (hosting), and Stripe (payment processing). Each has its own privacy practices, and their handling of data is governed by their own policies. You can read Reddit's Privacy Policy and Stripe's Privacy Center.
Cookies
Microsoft Clarity may set cookies to measure site usage. The Reddit Pixel may use cookies or related identifiers to measure whether visits and purchases followed a Reddit ad view or click. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the email and related information you gave us at any time, and you can unsubscribe from our emails whenever you like. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have additional rights over your personal information. Children
Quiet Proof is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
